Swimming Lessons

Lucy started swimming lessons last week. It did my heart good to see someone put the fear in her like that. I saw a look on her face that I’ve never seen before — priceless. I’ve even got pictures to prove it. Of course now she thinks she’s invincible so she’s fearless: jumping off the diving board, almost hitting her head and back each time, thinking she can swim across the pool, etc. Classic Lucy.

There are a few pictures here. A few from swimming, a few from her day as a princess on Sunday (though I don’t know how that’s different than any other day), and a few of the girls doing Pilates. Fun stuff.

Finally Home

We finally made it home last night. It was a long haul. Everyone seemed to have fun, though Lucy kept asking to come home. Today was a bit hard to get back into the routine, especially since I’m out of money and am pretty tired. It was pretty good to be back at work today. It’s supposed to be 110 all week, which isn’t too exciting.

I uploaded (or am uploading) a bunch of pictures. I use iPhoto and some plugin to do it, so hopefully it will do it right and create the set and all. As before:

On the Road Again

Well we’ve been on the road for a while now. We had a good family reunion up in Salt Lake City with Julie’s family. It was a good time. I’ll have lots of pictures up shortly. Lucy was a treat.

We’re in St George, Utah, tonight. We drove down from up north and are staying with Julie’s sister, Lisa. We figured we would break up the drive so that we wouldn’t have to leave Lucy on the side of the road somewhere in the wilderness. Let’s just say that she’s not a very good traveller. She’s been asking to go home for about 4 days, so I guess she’s ready.

More later, including pictures.
